Maternity photos at China Beach in San Francisco
Hey friends,
I recently had the pleasure of capturing maternity photos for a beautiful couple at China Beach in San Francisco. As many of you know, the weather in San Francisco can be unpredictable, and on this particular summer day in July, we were met with a foggy and rainy forecast. But my couple, being the troopers they are, decided to make the best of it and go through with the photoshoot.
Fun fact: The couple was expecting twins! And they were an international couple, with the mom-to-be from Spain and the dad-to-be from France. I love San Francisco’s diversity and it was so much fun talking to them about their different cultures and backgrounds.
As we arrived at China Beach, the fog was so thick that we could barely see the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. But that didn’t stop us from finding some beautiful spots to take photos. The fog added a dreamy and romantic atmosphere to the photos, and it was amazing to see how it transformed the beach into a secluded and intimate setting.
The couple was so natural and comfortable in front of the camera, and the love they have for each other and their soon-to-be-born twins was truly captured in the photos. The rain added an element of drama and made the photos stand out even more.
Despite the poor weather, we were able to capture some beautiful and unique photos that the couple will treasure forever. It was a reminder that sometimes, things don’t go as planned, but that’s what makes life and photography so exciting. It’s the unexpected moments that make memories and photos truly special.
My couple was amazing, and I am so grateful that they trusted me to capture this special moment for them. And I love how diverse San Francisco is, and how it reflects on my clients.
